Cadet Blues Uniform

The Cadet Blues Uniform

The cadet "blues" uniform is the second Air Force style uniform that cadets wear. In the military this type of uniform is know as a service uniform and is for wear in office and up to semi-formal events. Additionally, the service dress uniform is further broken down to "class A" and "class B" service uniform with the distinction being the wear of a service dress jacket for the "class A" and no jacket for the "class B". By and large cadets will mostly wear the "class B" service dress uniform for the majority of the time.

So what makes up the (class B, service dress) "blues" uniform?

  • Flight Cover (or Service Cap, optional for cadet officers)

  • Short (or Long) Sleeve, Light Blue Shirt or Blouse

  • Short Sleeve, White V-neck Tee Shirt

  • Belt, Dark Blue with Silver Buckle and Tip

  • Pants or Skirt, Dark Blue

  • Oxfords or Pump, Black
