Cadet PT Uniform

The Cadet Physical Training (PT) Uniform

The Air Force Improved Physical Training Uniform (IPTU) pants, shorts, and/or running suit jacket with a squadron tee shirt is the standard.

Otherwise here's what we're looking for:

• Gym Shorts or Track/Sweat Pants

  • solid in color; of a similar blue as see below 

  • clean, unwrinkled, and free of stains

  • designs or logos if present should be small and as unnoticeable as possible

• Squadron Tee Shirt

  • tucked in

  • clean, unwrinkled, and free of stains

  • if for some reason you do not have a squadron tee shirt, a plain sand colored tee shirt will suffice

    • no CAWG cadet school shirts

• Gym Socks, Black

  • clean and free of stains

  • no logos, just plain black socks

  • height, between crew and just above the ankle

• Tennis Shoes

  • this one is a free pass, anything goes -- after all it's your feet

  • need to be able tie and secure laces

• Track Jacket

  • completely optional

  • solid in color; of a similar blue as see below 

  • clean, unwrinkled, and free of stains

  • designs or logos if present should be small and as unnoticeable as possible

The Air Force IPTU is available in AAFES military clothing stores, eBay, surplus shops, and other places.
