Group 7

Part of the Group...

Squadron 153 is one of seven squadrons in Group 7, which is geographically defined by Orange County, and Group 7 in one of eight groups (likewise defined by the boundaries of a county or counties) with in California Wing (CAWG). California Wing is one of fifty-two wings; all fifty states, National Capital Wing, and Puerto Rico Wing. And lastly wings are grouped into eight regions. Pacific Region, our region, includes Alaska Wing, Hawaii Wing, Nevada Wing, Oregon Wing, and Washington Wing. That flow (squadron > group > wing > region > national) is pretty much the CAP chain of command. Chain of Command

For us the Group offers trainings SAREXs (Search And Rescue EXercises), cadet BCS and ATS, senior member trainings, and group level Cadet Advisory Council (CAC), of which each squadron should have two cadet representatives.
