Squadron Leadership

 

Squadron Commander: 1st Lt Clint Vallee, CAP     clinton.vallee@cawgcap.org

Lieutenant Vallee is a graduate of Long Beach City College having earned an AS in Fire Science and an AS in Biological Science. He also completed El Camino College's part-time fire academy (Class 123) in 2009 and served as a reserve fire fighter/EMT for the Los Alamitos JFTB Fire Department from 2010-2012. Lieutenant Vallee currently works in airport operations for the City of Long Beach (since 2011) and is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). He has over twenty-five years of airport experience, holds a private pilot (SEL) certificate, and has made ten static line parachute jumps. Lieutenant Vallee is an Eagle Scout and had spent many years as an adult volunteer with Long Beach Area Council, BSA before coming to the squadron. He also has over ten years of service in the California State Guard, holding the rank of sergeant first class and serves as administration and personnel NCO for the Special Operations Support Detachment at JFTB. Lieutenant Vallee is a former CAP cadet from Long Beach Composite SQ 93 "Hellcats", attended the 1992 encampment at Vandenberg AFB, and achieved the rank of cadet sergeant, and he was also briefly a member of Senior Squadron 150 in the late 90's.
